Technology Innovation

Eighty-six Windows compatible computers are available with advanced processors and Internet capability, CD-Rom drives, and network capability.  All data processing and programming labs are furnished with computers using internet access, over our T1 line with gigabit backbone.  Computer languages are available in addition to data processing and web mastering. Microsoft Office Professional is available for word processing, database management, and spreadsheet calculations.  Holy Cross expands the classroom boundary by using a permanent distance learning facility in the Science building, and a mobile distance learning unit in the school library for electronic field trips.  The Accelerated Learning Center is available for eligible students and parents after school hours and evenings.

Academic Formation

Academic formation is met through a comprehensive offering of a variety of learning experiences that assist the student to attain the skills necessary for his success in the world. Important to the mission of Holy Cross is the discovery of the student’s highest academic and creative potential.

Choice and innovation help the Holy Cross student realize his full potential. Honors courses are available in areas of study. The comprehensive general studies requirements are augmented by a wide range of electives. Innovative teaching methods, utilizing much of the latest technology, help to make learning more exciting and challenging.
