The program has been under the direction of Mrs. Felicia Torres since 1992. Mrs. Torres is assisted by Ms. Jennifer Lopez-a former Holy Cross cheerleader herself. The cheerleader sponsor for the past eleven years has been Mrs. Lupe Collazo. The Holy Cross Cheerleaders are an active and involved group. In addition to the responsibilities that come with being members of their own particular schools, they represent Holy Cross in several community activities. They attend area church functions, and have helped “Race For The Cure” and the Humane Society.

Our cheerleader squad is a dedicated group of hard working ladies. They work out and train 12 months out of the year. Throughout the year they participate in several events. The ultimate competition is held every year at the Nationals competition. Our Holy Cross Cheerleader’s hard work and dedication have led them to SEVEN NATIONAL TITLES and this past year were named Grand Champions at Nationals for outscoring all teams in all divisions.

The Knights Cheerleaders also sponsor a turkey bingo in November and a local cheerleading competition for private and public elementary and jr. high schools. They sponsor raffles at all football games to raise money to help pay for competition fees and hotel expenses at the year end Nationals competition in Dallas, Texas. SO REMEMBER TO BRING A FEW EXTRA DOLLARS TO THE FOOTBALL GAMES AND BUY RAFFLE TICKETS…HELP SUPPORT OUR SUPPORTERS!!!
