Welcome to Holy Cross

Holy Cross School is a Catholic Christian Community where there is love, respect and acceptance of each person. At Holy Cross, the student is the center of the educative process. He is encouraged to develop the knowledge and abilities to live at peace with himself, with others, and with God. His teacher is a catalyst between the student and the school community which provides opportunities for learning to occur through its physical facilities, curriculum, and commitment. Essential to this, is the flexibility of both students and teachers to stimulate growth and development through adjustment, adaptation, assimilation, and evalution. It is a community built on strong traditions, but not bound by their limitations.

The Holy Cross Code

The Holy Cross Man realizes that life consists in the
harmonious development of the whole man - his religious,
intellectual and physical powers.

The Holy Cross Man is a resurrection Christian. His faith
allows him to reach out to others and to God with a joyful
enthusiasm. He takes part in the liturgy of the risen Christ
with the spontaneity and joy which the freedom of the sons
of God gives him. He responds to a living and real God
present to him in his school community of Holy Cross and in
its parent context, the whole world.

Intellectual honesty and reality are the hallmarks of the
Holy Cross man. His textbooks are limited only by the
universe and its Creator. He is so awed by his universe that
he constantly seeks to understand and expand it. He is not
afraid to accept truth wherever he finds it.

Socially, the Holy Cross Man strives to be a gentlemen.
He seeks true friendship among his peers, and practices
common courtesies accepted in our society. Through his
example, he promotes leadership by giving of his time and
effort.
