Discover Holy Cross of San Antonio!

Dear Future Knights,

Thank you for your interest in Holy Cross of San Antonio! My name is Shannon Tijerina and as your Admissions Director, I look forward to helping you navigate the admissions and enrollment process this year. Since I have joined the Holy Cross family, I have been welcomed wholeheartedly by this community and look forward to sharing this experience with you throughout your school search.

Growing up in a small town, Charlotte, Texas, I learned the importance of family and how vital those strong community values were to my success. After graduating from Charlotte High School, I attended Our Lady of the Lake University where I received a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Marketing and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Management. One of the greatest opportunities during my college career was studying abroad in Europe, Romania and France. After graduation, I worked in sales for a publishing company, did event marketing for SeaWorld San Antonio, and spent that last 10 years in admissions at Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) recruiting new undergraduate students.

At Holy Cross, you will have opportunities to grow academically, personally, athletically, and spiritually. Our students can earn up to 36 college credit hours through our dual credit partnership with OLLU as early as the summer after their sophomore year in high school. We offer blended learning (Online + Classroom), Honors and AP classes, SAT prep, over 10 clubs and organizations, and 12 competitive athletic programs. We are proud to have 100% college acceptance and 100% graduation rate.

If you are interested in learning more about joining the Holy Cross family, please contact me at 210-433-2178 or by email at shannon.tijerina@holycross-sa.org. I would love to give you a tour of campus or schedule a Shadow Day where you can experience a day in the life of a Holy Cross student. I look forward to meeting you soon! Go Knights!
